New management

Aloha everyone!

I wanted to announce some changes happening here at BAMF. Since its inception, BAMF Wireless has been run by 3 people. You all know me, Brian; most of you know of Bob, who ran our office; and Paul, who handled a lot of our behind the scenes big picture plans. Together we built BAMF from the ground up and it grew into what we have today. Except for a small brush with lava, we have always tried to offer the best possible service at a great price. Going forward however, some of this will be changing.

As of today BAMF will only have 2 owners. Myself, Brian Freeman, and my wife, Kim Freeman. Together we plan to continue to grow and improve BAMF long into the future. I will continue to be the technical expertise in the field and Kim will be the one handling the office duties. This change will also allow me to spend much more time working on BAMF so expect more upgrades more often and a quicker turnaround on installs and repairs.

So, what changes are in store for our customers? Not much actually.

  • The customer portal is getting a makeover.

  • Prices are actually going down a tiny bit.

  • Automatic Payments will have to be set up again for everyone because of the price change. (Don't worry about doing this just yet)

  • New BAMF phone number: 808-396-8999

All of these changes will take some time to implement but I expect to be done with everything within 1 week. From now on if you need to contact someone at BAMF please email Kim at kim@bamfwireless.com or myself.

I'd like to apologize now for any bumps during this transition and express my thanks for using our services. I do not expect any outages to happen.

We're officially back!

Aloha everyone!

I want to start off by giving my sympathy to anyone who was affected by the lava. Recovery isn't easy and I wish you the best of luck in your efforts in getting back on your feet.

So, whats changed with BAMF in the meantime? We now have just over 3x the available bandwidth available. Even during prime time (afternoon - evenings) everyone should be able to still hit their peak speeds their antennas are capable of. 

Our prices have also gone up to be more in line with our exceptional service. Our BAMF service is now $60/month+taxes. We believe we're still the best bang for your buck (by far).

We still despise contracts, hidden fees, penalties, speed restrictions and the like so you wont see any of those here and never will.

We're also doing free re-hookups as long as you still have your antenna and associated cables. You may even be able to just plug them in and be online.

Thank you all for your patience while we rebuild. Please email me with any questions you have or if you just want to restart service and I'll get to it as fast as possible.

Update 5/7/2018

Yesterday the lava took down our main structure where the internet source was located. We are currently working on getting another location up and running but it may be a few days. We will be refunding everyone who is affected by our outage. Thank you all for your patience while we get through this troubled time.

Update 5/5/2018

Spectrum was able to get the network back up late yesterday but it seems to be down again. We are unable to get to the source of our internet due to evacuations in the area. As long as power and data stay up at our source for the internet everything else will come back on.
